The New life Charitable Trust (NLCT) is a registered non-governmental, secular, non profitable, unpaid social service organization established in 1991 with an objective to serve two cross sections of society – The destitute and abandoned elderly people and Orphaned and abandoned children.

The Seed and The Beginning
The seed for NEW LIFE was sown in 1991 at ERAIYUR village by Mr.A.A.Swamy and Mrs.G.Lalitha, who took VRS from their respective Govt. jobs to start their philanthropic services for the betterment of distressed Sr.Citizens and destitute parentless Children.
The seed has grown into a big banyan tree over a period of 26 years, providing Charity Care to those neglected by the society, with the help and sustained support of many well wishers and philanthropists.

What We Do
Providing protection, comfort, food, clothing, education, medical care, hygiene, and recreational activities like craft and yoga.
- Free Medical Camps & Medicines for home inmates and villagers.
- Education Support: Free books, stationery, uniforms, and skill programs for school kids.
- Community Development: Infrastructure improvements in roads, water, sanitation, and tree planting.
- Women Empowerment: Supporting self-help groups and uplifting 40 widows.
- Maternal & Infant Care: Free milk for newborns and pregnant women.
- Animal Welfare: Providing shelter, fodder, and medical care for cows (Goshala).
- Dignified Last Rites: Honoring unclaimed bodies and home inmates.
- Volunteer Engagement: Encouraging students and corporate groups to spend time with inmates.
What We Do
Our Primary Care for Home Inmates includes Care & Protection, Comfort, Food, Clothing, Education, Total Medical Care, Hygiene, Recreation, Extra-curricular activities – viz. Craft, Yoga, etc.
- Periodic Free medical camps and supply of medicines to the Home inmates and the entire Villagers
- Free books, stationery, uniforms, shoes and skill development programs for school kids of the Home and the Govt. Middle School in the Village
- Take part in Village Community Development Programs for proper infrastructure facilities viz. Road, Water, Drainage, Sanitation and planting of trees.
- Empower the Village Women Folk (Self Help Groups) to start their own Small scale/ Cottage Industry through NLCT. We adopted 40 widows for social up-lift
- Supply of Free Milk for new born babies and poor pregnant women in the village.
- We give the best care for cows (Goshala) viz. shelter, fodder and medical care.
- Last rites of Home inmates with dignity and also any unclaimed dead bodies as and when requested by the Govt Agencies.
- We encourage group participation - Volunteers from colleges and corporate houses to spend social time with the inmates of the Home.
Reflections -we have released our sovereign on 22nd September 2018 about NLCT 27years journey.
